Here is a snippet from the book The Omnivore’s Dilemma that analyzes the contents of a Chicken McNugget.

Historically Wrong

Here is an awesome clip from the Daily Show where John Stewart shows clips of UN Ambassidor (and part time Yosemite Sam impersonator) John Bolton accusing Stewart of being “Historically Wrong” in regards to the type of cabinent Pres. Lincoln created.  Sooo Stewart then contacts a Lincoln Historian, that had previously been on the show, to clarify how historically wrong Bolton is.  Great stuff!

Non-distracting Text Writer

Darkroom is a free Windoze application that hearkens back to a simpler time when word processors were simply word processors without all those pesky features to get in the way. This is not so much a word processor, as it is a writing environment where writing is all there really is to do. This is for the ADD individual. No distractions from the program or from anything else Windoze is running.

I can’t claim it will help the quality of anyone’s writing.

Windoze Keyboard shortcuts (of the Day)

Keyboard shortcuts are a good thing.

This site points out the newbie ones (cut and paste stuff) but other shortcuts that I’d bet jason didn’t know such as shift+F10 to be the equivalent of the right-click without using the mouse (jason doesn’t like mice)
